It was really my laziness that started it all. I breastfed Michael from birth in our bed and then let him fall asleep next to me. Not wanting to get up again, I just let him stay. Everyone, including my husband, slept great. This went on for months. Then my mommy friends started in with the sleep talk. They were all letting their babies cry it out. There was a time when my two year-old only wanted me. I was her sun, moon and stars as I should be…I’m the one who went through labor and delivery for crying out loud!
