Karen L. Rancourt, Ph.D., a management consultant and educator, is also an adjunct associate professor, New York University, Social Sciences, Organizational Behavior and Communication program.
The author of two books on how to increase one's professional productivity and effectiveness and one book on parenting (Yeah But, Children Need…, Schenkman Publishing), Karen is also the author of over a dozen business and education articles. Karen received her Ph.D. in human behavior and education from the University of Maryland; she completed her undergraduate work in education and social sciences at Boston University. She is an experienced licensee of Myers-Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI®) and a licensed practitioner for the Neethling Brain Instruments (NBI™) whole brain assessment tools.
Karen lives with her husband, Gary, on a third-floor condominium on the Upper East Side. Their daughter, son-in-law, and two grandsons live in the same condominium on the sixth floor. If you assume Karen and Gary bought their condo after their daughter and son-in-law bought theirs, you would be wrong.
