I’ll be the first to say I’m no recessionista. In fact, I hate the term. I find it ridiculous and stupid. Living the “recessionista lifestyle” is just good common sense that we can and should be applying to our everyday lives no matter what the economic circumstances. As I’ve mentioned before, I am über-organized.
Each Summer, Fall, Winter and Spring I go through Ben’s clothes and pull any outgrown items. I make two distinct piles. One pile I donate to Goodwill and the other pile, I consign. The Goodwill pile is neatly stacked in a plastic grocery bag. Eventually, the bag finds its way out to my mini van and when I pass a Goodwill donation box, I toss it in—it’s hassle free.
