The Swing
I was at the park pushing my 2-year old on the swing when a woman comes up to me and says that she’s too young to be pushed on that swing. She should be in the baby bucket swing. She had an agenda because there were no other swings available and her older kid was having a hard time waiting. I patiently explained that my daughter prefers the bigger swing. The woman says, “Well I would never let my child call the shots when it comes to safety”. I said back, “And I would never let you call the shots with my child! Back off!”
